Been a bear lately being able to fish. Have not posted in a while being out of the area during most of the year.

Did have a few breaks from the daily grind and fished the Coast this past Summer and then hit a few ponds with Fshng84 for stocked Trout. Hope to be able to do more in 2012!

Lefty Deceivers

Been working on variations of a Lefty Deceiver pattern, trying to match the hatch. Been a tough go but had some success this morning at Bethany Lakes. Caught two Bass on a Blue/White/Purple Lefty Deceiver. Going to make more adjustments but the key is size and then color. :D

Made it to the Coast with Fshng84. Had a great time catching fish. Too bad the fish were small. Had a better time catching waves, checking out the "local scenery", and just chillin' on the Beach.8)

Another Go At Kroger Park....

Fished Kroger Park this evening trying to catch at least one Bass over 12" using a Leech Streamer. Had two hard strikes; one looked like a Bruiser but.... lost it soon after the hook set. Better luck next round.

Fished Kroger Park in hopes of one of the Bruisers. They were back, just cared not for my fishing fly! Had several short strikes from Bass, lost a couple of small ones while setting the hook, and ended the trip with a few Bluegill caught and released. :)

Bethany Lakes Last Night

Decided to hit Bethany Lakes last night with my buddy Stevo for a go at the Catfish. Went with Fshng84's suggestion to use Bread for bait. Caught two that were larger than my foot, guess @ 14" in size. Had other bites but really tough to hook them when freelining.... :)
